Lindsay joined Balance Legal Capital as an Investment Manager in May 2022.
Lindsay qualified as a barrister in Ontario, Canada. She spent three years at Lerners LLP in Toronto where her practice included complex commercial litigation, contentious insolvency and appellate advocacy. Lindsay has substantial experience litigating corporate and shareholder disputes involving allegations of unfair prejudice, complex fraud, and breach of fiduciary duties. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Court of Appeal.
In 2020, Lindsay moved to London and practiced at a litigation boutique. She then joined Pinsent Masons LLP where she advised clients on financial services and commercial litigation matters while also assisting the regulatory compliance team.
Lindsay holds law degrees from the University of Toronto and City University London and a Bachelor of Commerce from Western University.
